If you are looking for a Roland kick and don't need to be extremely silent, you're going to be better off buying a KT-10 (which gives a bit more feedback and plays a little nicer, but has way more 'thump', so can be problematic in concrete apartments and such) or a 'proper' pedal/head combination like the KD-9 or KD-10 (which are even more noisy, but feel very real), but if you do, this is certainly a very usable option
